New Year’s Eve events planned all across Southwest Florida – FOX4

Downtown Fort Myers will host their annual downtown countdown. The party starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 1 a.m.

There will be live music, food trucks, and a ball drop on Bay and Hendry streets at midnight. This family friendly event is free.

As an alternative in Fort Myers, We Rock The Spectrum Gym is hosting a ‘Noon’ Year celebratory balloon drop for kids.

Fort Myers Beach is celebrating their birthday this New Year’s Eve. Festivities kick off at noon with free cupcakes in Times Square. There will be a ball drop at midnight, followed by fireworks to ring in the new year.

Just a heads up, the Matanzas Pass Bridge will close at 11:45 p.m. for the fireworks. It will reopen only to let cars off the island through 1:15 a.m.

Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda will be ringing in 2020 with quite the celebration. Their New Year’s Eve party kicks off at 6 p.m. The free, family-friendly event will have live music, food trucks, and fun activities for all ages.

At midnight, the sky will be lit up with a spectacular fireworks display.

The City of Naples will be putting on their annual fireworks display at the pier. The show starts at 7 p.m. and will last about 25 minutes. Attendees should bring their own chair or blankets to use during the show, which can be seen all along Naples Beach.

The Naples Pier will close at 5:00 pm and will reopen by 11:00 pm.

Downtown Cape Coral is hosting a New Year’s Eve beach ball drop . The family-friendly event will run from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. along Southeast 47th Terrace. There will be live music, street performers, food trucks, and of course, a ball drop at midnight.
