Fort Myers is home to a lot of family activities, but we found a place recently that we fell in love with! It’s called We Rock the Spectrum Fort Myers and it is SUCH a great place for kids! It’s like a sensory gym for kids featuring all kinds of unique swings, a trampoline, a zip line, a rock climbing wall, a sensory room, a toddler area, therapy equipment, an arts and crafts room, and more!

There is no age limit for children with special needs to come in and play, and for neurotypical children, ages 12 and under are welcome at We Rock the Spectrum. My eight and five year old had a BLAST! My son spent most of his time on the zip line- he loved it! And my daughter loved playing in the pretend play area where there was a playhouse, a veterinarian clinic, a pretend diner, and more!

The Swings

There were so many fun and unique swings to choose from! They had regular swings, a tent swing (yes! A tent swing!), a canoe swing, and more!

Toddler area

The toddler area is a great place for young kids to play. They have a separate section with a small trampoline, a slide and other climbing toys. It’s a great area for the little ones to play in and not get knocked over by a big kid.

The Zipline

Like I mentioned earlier, my son absolutely loved the zipline. He did it over and over again! Here is a video of him on the zipline along with a little tour of We Rock the Spectrum…

The Sensory Room

This is SUCH a great idea! In the sensory room was a sequence wall, and lots of things to touch and feel. I have never seen anything like this- it’s great!

Imaginary Play Area

This area is near the toddler section and it is where kids can play with really cute Melissa and Doug play structures. My daughter spent most of her time here. They had a playhouse, a diner with a REALLY neat drink machine, a veterinarian clinic, a grocery store and a doctor’s office! So much fun! Here are a few of our pictures of this section….
